A wonderful sign of life returning to normal is the abundance of fantastic events! One that we’re incredibly excited about is the 40th Annual Friendsville Days Festival. For just one weekend (August 13th to August 14th), activities and entertainment abound in Friendsville Park. This joyful festival celebrates the community, good music, incredible food, and so much more! Local musicians and craft vendors will be here so you can support small businesses and local artists. Plus, this fun festival is just 20 minutes from our inn!
A community dinner kicks off the action on Friday, August 13th, followed by live music and a cornhole tournament! Saturday, August 14th, is loaded with entertainment – a parade, live music, wing and watermelon eating contests, and SO much more. The few things mentioned here are just a selection of the fun! From horseshoes to a silent auction, and of course, fireworks, this celebration of the Youghiogheny river and Friendsville community is an annual event we cherish and look forward to every year.
