Autumn Glory Festival is a Deep Creek Lake area tradition.
According to the Deep Creek Lake Area & Garrett County, MD official website, “The annual Autumn Glory Festival is a five-day celebration of autumn that celebrates the beauty of the local fall foliage.”
Past festivals have included car shows, craft shows, fiddle competition, fall foliage driving tour, Oktoberfest, Turkey Trails, and a Grand Parade to close out the 5-day celebration! This year, guests can enjoy much of the same fun, as this ever-evolving tradition continues to draw crowds of more than 60,000.
This well-loved festival has received plenty of accolades, much like the surrounding area. In 2007, renowned travel site MSN.com listed the Autumn Glory Festival as the top fall festival in the world!
The Travel Channel has also featured our local festival and even produced a short video about Autumn Glory Festival, as well as a 2019 podcast.
